NAACP Afro Academic Competition Info Session, December 1
The Prince William NAACP is looking for minority Northern Virginia high school students to compete in the 2024 ACT-SO competition. ACT-SO consists of 33 competitions covering STEM, Humanities, Performing, Visual and Culinary Arts. Click here for more information.
AEOP Veteran’s Appreciation Challenge, Submissions due December 15
This challenge asks 4th-12th Grade students to design a wearable pin that shows appreciation to Veterans of any U.S. military branch. This is a 3D design challenge, but no 3D design experience is necessary and there are many free resources to get you started. Click here for more information.
NASA RockOn 2024 Workshop, Applications due February 2, 2024
RockOn! is a hands-on workshop teaching participants how to create a sounding rocket experiment from scratch over a 5-day period (June 14-19, 2024) and then launching it into space on the 6th day of the workshop. The workshop is designed for college students. Click here for more information.
